What do you do when you cheat?!


Question: My dad brought me mcdonalds today and i just couldn't help myself!
I've been on a diet for almost a month.
It was the first time i had a soda pop in 3 weeks.
I feel pretty ashamed. lol
What do you do when you slip up?

You let it go. I know it is super hard to let it go but if you don't, it will eventually take over your life. It was one time. It won't cause you to gain 500 pounds, trust me. It was once. Let it slide. Even body builders have cheat meals.. It is okay. I know you feel like crap but in this life, it just isn't as important as we'd like to think.

good question i am trying to quit smoking some days it goes well others not so well when i cheat i actually feel horrible like i am cheating on myself and always feel guilty afterwords

one treat will not hurt you at all. :)
as long as you go right back to eating healthy, it probably will not affect you at all ! :)

It's actually best if you let yourself have those things on occasion, you actually should have what my nutritionist calls "a cheat day" once a week, this will keep you from binging and eating way to much. For example, if yo ureally wnat a slice of choc. pie, or pizza, you would wait for whatever day you picked as your cheat day (for expl Saturday) then during the week everytime yo uwant something you shouldn't eat, you can say you'll have it saturday, by the time saturday comes, you won't want all those things you ahd wanted all week, but you will still choose the things to eat that you still want.

Thats not that horrible. You can do two things when you slip up... you can either try to get in some extra exercise to burn the calories you just ate... that way you do less damage.

Or you can just forget about it and move on. Its not that bad to let yourself have something you want on occasion. Then you dont feel neglected.

Its ok to cheat (every once in a while). the only time its bad is if you make a habit of it.

This time you went 3 weeks with out a sift drink, now try 4 weeks. Its ok to give yourself a break sometimes :)
