What results will i have if i cut peanut butter out of my diet?!

Question: I have decided to cut peanut butter out of my diet. (maybe have it once a month in a pb and banana sandwich) But it is my ABSOLUTE favorite food and i usually have it everyday after school with celery or an apple. The problem is that i eat WAY too much. some days i just keep getting more out of the jar. so i think i should just do away with it all together. (pretty much) i only eat the healthy organic, no sugar added kind but i know it still has alot of calories. after my snack i usually run a couple miles at the gym. So, will this help me lose weight? does anyone have suggestions on what i should have after school instead of peanut butter?

You don't say how old you are but I suppose high school? With the way you eat and exercise I guess you are not overweight. My guess....is ...don't worry about your peanut butter. Maybe measure out a reasonable amount for your celery and put the jar away....far away...before you start eating your portion with celery. Then maybe you won't be tempted to get more...and more...and more...

You seem on the right track to me. Eat healthy, exercise, work and play hard....God bless you and yours. :)

not much loss i don't think

Peanut butter is great if you are trying to gain muscle, its good for energy, protein, and other nourishing elements. Even though it is fatty, it is a natural fat, and is easily burned off when you run. Personally I would keep some in, but just smaller amounts. If you have ANY soda, or greasy chips, chocolate, junk food, cut that out instead.

That's gonna be a tough one. Since you seem to be monitoring your calorie intake and exercising, not much to say about that.

Let's see. I think a tablespoon of peanut butter has a 100 calories, or is it 200. Whatever. I'd just adjust my workout to burn up the extra cals, and keep eating the peanut butter.

If that doesn't seem to work for you, how about a small bowel of sugar free pudding? There is really no decent sub for peanut butter.

well, contrary to what u are doing.. peanut butter actually has benefits! its good for your skin, good for your muscles, good for energy, and it stablizes your blood sugar.. u should keep it in...

why don't u try having whey protein shakes,, you'll like them..

u & i have the same problem!!!!!!!!!!! i eat super healthy & everything like that yoo and exercise daily but pb is my fave! (i eat the same kind as you do too!) i cut it out & now my skin is clearer and i weigh less and don't feel bloated
