but your body will burn more fat after 22 mins, so make sure its longer than that.

no more then 40 mins.. after that, you are doing excess cardio, and the treadmill is can be very hard on the knees

alternate bewteen elipitical, much eaiser on the knees..

It's best to spend about 30 minutes on the treadmill. I avoid eliptical machines because they place A LOT of stress on the back.
