Yes, I have lost 70 pounds in the last 21 months. It has been slow going, but it's the best way to do it. I set small goals for myself, example-on the first day of spring I want to weigh this amount, etc, then another goal for the next season- summer. I weigh only once a week. It comes down to eating less, and moving more.

it's a marathon, not a sprint.. so you just have to keep on truckin'

you really have to get the nutrition right and then add cardio (3 to 4 times per week).

Expect to lose between 1 and 2 lbs per week if you are REALLY really trying...

let the motivation be the scale... keep a log and when you can track the numbers drop and drop you'll be movitated to keep on doing it.

But, don't diet so hard that you set yourself up for failure
