Question: of reading questions like these. But I need to
lose 10 pounds before summer. I CAN'T go to
the gym and I don't have weights. So how can I
do this? I plan on running everyday, but I can't
at the moment (everything is covered in ice) but
I have a backstreet and it's hill. So if I run up and
down that for an hour how many weeks would it
take for me to lose 10 pounds?

10 pounds isn't a huge undertaking. you should have no problem losing it by summer if you run every day. Maintain your diet to guarantee the weightloss.

Avoid fats as much as possible as well as simple carbs (sugars). Proteins will almost never be converted to fat, and complex carbs (breads and veggies) can be converted to fat if you are inactive and have a slow metabolism.
