Why are some nutritional informations incorrect?!

Question: if im bored ever i sometimes multiply the carb/protein/fat on the nutrition facts of foods im snacking on and ive noticed alot of the time they don't come out right.. i understand the rounding and what not.. but some things aren't close at all

namely jif peanut butter came out to be 200 cals/serv (its listed as having 190) and smuckers nat. peanut butter came out as 200 as well (its listed as 210)

?? im just confused why smucker's would lie and add more than they really have

Apparently they are not sure. Those figures only give you a
general idea of what is higher in calories than other foods.
There is tons of folks giving out misleading information like
advertising 100 calories per serving, but when you read the
can you may find that what they say is a serving is ridiculous.
For instance a can of beans has 3 1/2 servings.
Sugar free gummy bears have more calories than the regular ones........Whats that about ? I am sick of being treated like an idiot.
