Please help me! This is a serious matter to me.?!

Question: I really want to lose at least ten pounds in 3-4 weeks or sooner. Do you have any ideas? Anything that is proven and healthy? I don't want to starve myself or run a billion miles. Please help me, this means a lot to me and I really want to lose weight. And don't give me any of that "losing weight is just a teenage stage" I'm serious. Please answer with a healthy and true way to do what I mentioned above, this is very important to me and I would really like some proof that it works. I'm begging! Please help! Preferably a nutritionist, dietitian or someone with experience! but any opinions, ideas and plans can help me!

First of all, you need a shot of reality before we continue with this. You're not going to lose that much weight in less than 3-4 weeks. The human body wasn't designed like that and you'd only wind up regaining the weight you lost plus a little more.

Having said all that, please supply your current weight, height and age before any advice is given.

Edit:

There's nothing wrong with your weight as it is right now. It's normal and losing 10 pounds will almost put you in the underweight category. Personally I feel you're feeling pressure to be thin due to your friends,.the media and maybe some boy you like said you were fat. Let me tell you that you're not fat regardless of how you feel about yourself.

Now comes the bad news. As you're at a healthy weight, it's going to take a lot for you to lose those 10 pounds, and it's completely unnecessary. If you really want it, you're going to need to really work it. I'm talking lots of cardio which doesn't necessarily mean running a billion miles but doing so for an hour a day to get your heart rate up.

Then when it comes to food, just cut out the junk, fast food, sugary snacks and anything fried. Eat sensibly because you need nutrition at your age to grow properly. Do not under any circumstances try to starve yourself or eat less than 1800 calories a day. That might seem like a lot, but it isn't as much as you think. If you follow this, you might lose a pound a week.

Girl you need to loose 10 i need to loose 60 so if you got the answer please let me know.... lol Brigitte@isdial.net email me .... water and exercise helped me loose 4 in a week.. plus yogurt with sesamyseed...and 1 peece of chicken or fish in the evening with 200g of veggies... hope this helps..

cut back portions when eating and only eat three times a day. no snacks in between. running or walking everyday will help. now i know its not fun but seriously i was in the army and i know what i am talking about. in three to four weeks? no sweat! you got this.

If you want to be healthy then the most you can lose per week is up to 2.5 pounds and that depends on how much you are over weight. You must eat correctly and exercise. Lifting weight scares woman but it doesn't bulk your muscle if you lift really lite weight for high reps. Try that and try walking at a fast past at most 2 miles a day. You have to structure your diet. 3 healthy meal with with two sneaks. Avoid whites Carbs like crazy, not white bread, no white rice, no potato's etc. I am not saying cut carbs but eat whole grain carbs in the morning have your last serving at lunch time then no more till the next morning. That and exercise will get you there. Good luck.

you really need to be patient about losing weight
