Major Weight question Help!! ?!

o.k im ver self-concious you can say of my body.
i really dont like it. Inever had problems like this.
Never!! but now its really getting to me. idk if avery kid
has problems with this as a teenager but i really dont feel comfortable with my body. like i see other people at school
& im like whoa shes really thin or people that are even fatter than me look good because the confident with there body.
but im not i really dont like it. i hate wearing tight shorts and feel fat in them i rather wear a sweater to cover it all off.
i dont really have my stomach hanging over or
anything but its cuz my stomach is sooo wide.
how can i help this like having to wear tight shirts and taking that sweater off to be comfortable what can ido??
tone , diet?

oh i love junk food tried to get away from them but cant!
chocolate & hot cheetos are my weakest.
i know there bad but i love them cant i have them once in a while??

Okay, you know what the problem is, you know how to solve it. I was just like you, low self-esteem, overweight, loved junk food. But I changed, you know how? Because it was something
I REALLY wanted. So I went out and learned that to lose the weight, you need to eat 5-6 spread out meals a day of healthy food. (fruit, nuts, meat, vegetables, and lots of water!) Jog 30 min. a day, 5-6 days a week, and do as many crunches, push ups, pull ups, and squats as you can 3 times a week. Start slow with the excersize, if you cant even do one pull up thats definalty OKAY, just go half way up a few times at first and soon you will see it gets easyer. Try to eat chocolate and other junk food on occasion only, soon you'll notice that your body won't like those foods in big quantities and it will actually start tasting bad. eat to live, don't live to eat. Do all that, and in only a few months you'll start to see changes, a few years, and that skinny girl you saw will see you and say wow, she's hot!

I am the same way that you are. You are not fat at all. You are perfect. If you want to lose weight to feel better about yourself.. I say go for it. I would NOT go below 100. My concern is that you are going to develop a eating disorder because of how you already feel about your weight. It would be really bad to go down that road. It's horrible.. it ruins your life. So if you want to lose the weight, do it right. Cut your calories to about 1400 calories and spend 45 mins each day working out. Cardio is the best.. and running works wonders. You will lose weight. When you get to your desire weight.. STOP...bring your calories back up. You can keep on working out though.. since it's good for you.

YES! you can have them ONCE IN A WHILE... remember everything in moderation... i have a huge weakness for chocolate... as soon as i open it i must eat it all. Therefore play it smart... if i know I'm going to eat it all... i buy smaller blocks...so there for only heat up half the amount of Cheetos's, or only buy smaller blocks/bars of chocolate, so you cant eat what you don't have.

Also i know chocolate isn't good for me, so i limit myself in other areas eg: I wont eat those deep fried chips for lunch, or instead of that pizza for luch, i might have some vegies and fish or grilled chicken or a healthy option so i know i can have that bit of chocolate later without feeling guilty.

Or try an approach where you only eat healthy all week, then on the weekend you can snack, and forget the healthy eating (please don't confuse this with a diet). So stick to 'all natural food', such as fish and other lean meats, nuts, seeds and unlimited fruit and veg. in other words 'no man-made foods' (breads, candy, cereals etc.)

But hell, don't stress. most teens aren't happy with one part of there lives or another... yours is your body, others is their or their family's finance, their crappy car, they feel UN-intelligent. Don't let it get to you.

And for a really quick fix... dark skin, or tanned skin looks more defined or 'cut' because the shadows seem darker in between the lines on muscle... so get a tanning cream (a decent one, you may need to experiment) and tan it up!

Well...I'm at about your situation. I'm 17, I'm 5'1 and weight 120. I used to feel really self conscious before because i used to weight 140, but then i found out that the average weight for our height is from 120 to 135. Now, If you truly want to loose weight, you should do it in a healthy weight. What i did was to eat a good breakfast, and then after that i would eat some fruit every two hours for the rest of the day, and i would finish off the day by eating a small portioned dinner before 7 p.m. I would also run two miles everyday.Now, i know that you will need strong will power for this, but if you really apply yourself, you WILL loose weight and it wont matter of you have a wide stomach

wow! you have the same problem as me. I am 5'1" I weigh 103lbs and I am 13 this year.

I think I am fat and I absolutly hate it, I try to suck it all in and I wear a sweatshirt all the time.

I think we should go on a diet and only eat 1oo to 176 callories a day, waht do you think? and alot of excersising.

I cant stay away from Junk food either even though I try.

you're only 14 love don't be so concerned about it. you don't need to cut junk food out of your life completely just be smart about it. if you have maccas one day, don't go to the movies that night and pig out on chocolate.
try and maximise your greens like cabbage and spinach which are high in protein (makes you feel full) and minimise foods with more than 10% saturated fats.

For your clothing try to shop at stylish stores like french connection etc. the sales girls there will be able to get you clothes/give you advice that will make you look sensational no matter how you think you look now.

You are not overweight. You are a good weight for your height. Don't get caught up in the super skinny image that's so popular with young girls/women these days. Losing too much weight will damage your health and your looks. Not getting enough calories /nutrition can result in not only health issues but also hair loss, skin problems, teeth problems, and broken, brittle, split nails.

You should appreciate yourself for who you are, no matter what you look like. It's important that you are kind to yourself. It makes your goals so much easier to achieve. Your self worth is not summed up by what is reflected back to you in a mirror.

Treat yourself with the same respect you would treat someone you really love and care about. Treat yourself how you want others to treat you. You are their best example of how to do that.

Be careful about wanting to lose when you don't need to. The body you're currently not enjoying is going through major changes and in order for that to happen with good results you need to ensure you're supplying the proper nutrients to it.

You're maturing and on your way to a different body. You're going to be seeing many changes. Try and enjoy them.
