I'm underweight. My BMI index is 17.1(I'm physically thin). I need tips !


Question: I have difficulty in eating food at regular intervals. Sometimes i don't feel hungry and skip my lunch or dinner. Please HELP me to gain some weight by suggesting good supplements and ALSO some tips to make me feel hungrier.

You and I have similar metabolisms. The best way to put on (healthy) weight for you will be to go to the gym at least once every two days. Do both lifting and cardio. The increased activity will encourage your appetite and after a couple weeks of doing this you'll easily consume twice as much at every meal.

You may not notice an immediate increase in weight, but gradually what little fat you have will convert to weightier muscle. You'll still be thin, but you'll have defined, strong muscle.

Make sure that you don't eat food that is high in cholesterol just to gain weight. This might actually be worse for you, maybe you will gain weight, in a lot of cases you won't.

Instead make sure you have good nutrient in your body. A daily vitamin and mineral supplement and a protein supplement would be good for you. I have been taking them for about two years now from a company that is pioneer in making food supplements.

eat later around 8-9 at night then go to bed you will gian more that way.
i just have to say im proud of you to admit ur skinny and need to gian weight in order to be healthy. just remember... gianing weight in some cases are ALOT EASIER then losing weight.
eat your favorite kind of dessert

Take those one a day women's pills they open up apatite also instead of regular sugar use splenda that will also open up your apatite and slowly u will gain wight.

Try to drink milk every 2 hours.

Eat a lot of carbohydrates and protiens. Just because you are trying to get bigger doesn't mean you should eat junk food. If you want to eat foods high in fat try eating things like nuts, and olive oil ? Whenever you don't feel hungry, eat anyways. If you have a regular eating schedule then you will start to feel hungry if you skip one of your regular meals.
