Don't give up. It may seem like nothings happening but it just takes time. Eat smaller portions and use less things like cheese and other fatty foods. Take up more active hobbies and cut out unnecessary junk food high in carbs also. For example, I used to be overweight myself and i got really into skateboarding and playing the drums. Being active made me want more water and less things like soda and other sweet drinks. Make sure you keep your heart rate elevated for over a half an hour when you are exercising or else you wont be burning enough calories. Aim for 45 mins to an hour and like I said, don't give up. Once you get in the habit of being active it will become easy! Got an ipod? Load it up and go on long bike rides. You can do it

I would say eat a balanced diet..more fruits&vegetables
Exercise at least 15 minutes a day(even walking up and down ur house might do)
NO supper & teatime (but once in a while won't hurt)
Relax and get enough sleep
DO NOT SLEEP all day lol

Hope this helps

Well if your not eating healthy then your going no where. You need to watch what you eat too. Just excercising wont help. Try drinking alot of water, juices and eating alot of fruits and vegetables. And try to stay away from fast food restaurants and soda.

its okay things take a while to work you should try gonig to a gym and getting a trainer
if you have equpiment at home do cardio for 30 min - 1 hr then try some sit ups, weights or anything else to help burn and build muscle
just remeber it takes time

First of all I would suggest a trip to an endocrinologist. it could be your hormones. for eg my daughter had dozens of problems including weight, and it turned out to be insulin resistance. and PCOS. individual docs like the skin specialist, peadatrician and the gynaec couldnt detect it. they just treated her hair and menstrual problems individually. she lost weight initially and then it plataued. but a dietician solved the whole problem holisitically. you could be insulin resistant too - it is very common now. the symptoms are overweight, dark patches underarms, a dark line around the neck, menstrual promblems, hirutism, balding pacthes on scalp, and depression.

follow a practical diet. have a snack every three hours. fruit or soy nuts. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50% veg, 25% carb, 25% protein. pick a exercise regime you like. but lose only 1 kilo a week. that is the permanent way of losing.dieticians offer eally good suggestions that r easy to follow. go to one

Watch what you eat:
- more fruits vegies & less fatty/sugar stuff
- no fastfood - no burgers, pizza, KFC
- no snacks - no chips, chocolates, ice cream, biscuits
- no soda - dot even diet coke, drink only water & fruit juice (natural ones!)
- less pastries/cakes/flour based food - for bread, only go for whole wheat bread.
- less dairy products e.g. cheese, cream etc
- less 'whole meat' meals like steaks, and more 'balanced' meals with balanced portion of carb/protein/vegies/fruits.
- eat more lean meats e.g. fish
- eat more fibre
- make sure you only eat 3x/day, dont have those extra snack times/supper/whatever
- cut down your portion

With your exercise - try the cross trainer - it burns a lot more calories than jogging/treadmills. And get a personal trainer - having someone pushing you on really motivates you.

Most important is to make all the above a habit - that way you'll never regain the weight.

btw, dont force yourself, shed off the weight slowly but regularly.
