After you go through the hard process of losing weight, is it all worth it in th!

Question: tell me your story

Answers: tell me your story

Not if you started out hating yourself to begin with. From my own experience, for any weight loss program to be successful, you must be happy with who you are and recognize that the weight is not everything about you. If you hit the gym saying, "Once I lose 30 lbs I'll be happy" then you have already lost the battle. Losing all the weight is definitely worth it if you are doing it to be healthy and strong. If you do it just for cosmetic purposes, you will never be satisfied.

SO worth it. I struggled for years with every program there was. Finally, as a last resort and to save my life ( 200lbs overweight) I had gastric bypass surgery. I made the decision, changed my life and most importantly my relationship with food. It was never easy, isn't thje "easy" way out or cheating- I have to do everything that everyone else does to lose weight. Eat less, avoid temptation, exercise...I just have a new anatomy that helps me. It was all so worth it to do the things I could not do before. No more asking for tables not booths in restaurants, no more seat belt extenders on airplanes (or dirty looks) - now I can and have : Parasailed, snorkeled, hot air ballooned, horseback ride, jet skiied and so much more ! I love my new life, I don't look too bad either but my health and new abilities are worth all the struggle !
