Your weight is currently in the healthy range, but if you continue starving yourself (yes, starving yourself), then you'll slip into the underweight category and will put your body in even more danger. Just because you're not underweight doesn't mean you're not at risk of the health issues associated with anorexia. Your body did not choose your weight coincidentally - each body has a "set point" that it functions best at, and if you go too above or below that, it will fight to return to that point. Are your nail beds a shade of blue? Do you get dizzy easily? Do your legs feel like they're going to collapse from underneath you? Is your hair falling out? Does your heart beat ever feel irregular? These are all signs that your body is not doing too well.
Please, save yourself before it's too late. You don't want to end up where I was. I was a slave to my eating disorder - it was stripping me of my identity, and before I knew it I was so deep into it that I had missed out on a crucial point in my life. There is so much out there to experience, so much fun to be had. Have you ever asked yourself why you're doing this? What you're trying to control in your life? Maybe your life feels out of control, so you're trying to control the one thing you can - food. Maybe you feel sad, and losing weight makes you feel better. Maybe your low self-esteem leads you to want to lose weight, because you think if you're thinner more people will like you. These are all very real feelings, but they're not healthy. Seek professional help if you need to - talk to your parents about wanting to maybe see a therapist.
If you really want to stay healthy and lose weight (though I don't think you should lose weight, I'd say go no lower than 109), start increasing your calories to *at least* 1,200 per day. It's still enough to lose weight on, but at least you're not completely malnourished. Once you get to the weight that you want to maintain, up them to 1,500 or something. Trust me, I was 90 lbs when I went to rehab (I'm 5'5''), and I was eating 3,000 calories per day and still lost weight the first week. You'd be surprised how eating moderate amounts of healthy food can make your metabolism wake up.
I wish you luck, stop yourself while it's early.
A body needs 1500 to 1700 cal a day. Having too little cal is it's not enough 4 ur metabolism to work right, ur metabolism will burn ur lean mass, rather than fat. U workout so ur body really needs fuel. Report It
