Nothing i do can stop me losing weight?!


Question: im nearly 20 and nearly 500 pounds, ( 35 stone 10 ) My fat is strating to really get me down. It all started when My parents died in car crash and my brothers went abroad. Now im alone and depressed. The only thing that seems to help me get through the pain is food, constantley, i mean constantly, 3-5 takeaways a day, but this is causing me more physical pain. I have got to the stage where i have got too big too move out of my chair, im anchored down, i have too shout to the takeaway deliverer, to pass the food through the window. I get breathless talking people on the phone and when i get breathless i dont get my breath back properly for 30-40 minutes. I'm literally stuck i cannot move, i NEEEEEEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all i live on is takeaways, alcohol, pc, and tv...thats my life.

first of all im very sorry about your loss
its tough as hell and i can not imagine how much pain you go through

therefore before i say more, please, if you want, click my username and write me, i will be more than happy to be your friend and talk to you, etc. maybe one day we can meet even.

now its known that when we are even sad (not even depressed) that people use food to get sugar to get energy to get un-depressed. This is like a protection mechanism.

You have to deal with your loss and then you need to find for yourself a reason to live.

It can be a champion in karate or getting that beautiful girl or whatever.

Until you have that reason, you will not have the passion. you need that passion to give you motivation every day to keep fighting for your goal(s).

basically, let me be a little direct and say you need something to do when you are depressed. be it PC games or whatever.

so to start with, stop eating huge amounts, reduce it strongly but DO eat and breakfast and dinner and lunch.

At that level of weight, it takes A LOT of energy to keep your body going, so just eating "normal" will drop your weight fast.

If you do have the courage and strength, you may consider getting yourself to a nutritionist or having one come to your house. Because again, at that level, the rules of the game are different and it would really help if you have a physical person near you supporting you.

i am offering to do what i can from distance, unfortunately i dont have the ability right now to travel a great distance to you.

stop eating!

There are programs to help your hunger crave along with training your body to remove fat pockets and utilize the food you do eat. The programs have showed a lot of results in short periods of time and can help over an extended period of time as well. There are vitamins and minerals in the programs that your body needs on a regular basis and help you to lose weight and inches. The product also has ingredients that help your skin get its elasticity back once you lose the weight so you don't have a lot of extra skin.

Sweetie, I am so sorry that you life has come to this. Stop eating is the simple answer. But there is so much more going on with you. Your going to have to try to find a new healthy pacifier. Have you been to grief counseling? Reach out to real people.

Well, you know that you're damaging you body by living this way, so now you need to believe in yourself enough to take the steps to change things. See your doctor, and ask him to refer you to a nutritionist. You don't want to start any kind of diet and exercise program until you get clearance from a doctor. In the meantime, try to take small steps at improving your health....eat out less often, stay away from fried or processed foods.....it's easy to slash calories by making small changes.

Do this for yourself, and for your family. You mother and father would want to know that you are happy and healthy. Best of luck.

Start by making better choices. You are the only one in control of the choices that got you to where you are now and you have to choose your way off.

I suppose when you get to the stage you are at with your health and emotional well being to say just stop eating is not the answer. You need to get some professional help, maybe visit your GP and ask for a referal to a counsellor to talk through your emotional problems and get your head together before you tackle the weight loss. Trying to diet and lose weight while you are depressed will only fuel the depression and make you feel worse. You really need to talk to someone, even if its just to get it all off your chest, you do need to lose some weight otherwise your health is at risk, you are effectively killing yourself eating that amount of food and getting no physical exercise, but the first thing to do is to see a doctor and get some help.
