Is this seriously not good for me?!


Question: i never eat breakfast anymore, i can barely finish my lunch at school, and i don't eat much at dinner. i really never want to eat anymore. i'm not annorexic; heck i'm no were near being that. some of my friends have noticed this and they are a little worried. what should i do?

I'm no expert but I think it may be normal. I've been through something kinda like that and there was really no reason for it. I think what you should do is try to eat your 3 meals a day but if you can't, try to eat healthy snacks every hour or so just to stay healthy and give your body energy. I didn't eat all day once and my head felt all funny, then when I ate it went away. But yeah, at least try to eat breakfast because that's most important.

And this last suggestion I have no experience with, but my friend uses these protein shakes, he says one shake gives him the nutrients he needs all day and he doesn't get hungry after drinking them.

If you can't have 3 meals try 6 small meals such as big snacks like a cup of soup, veggies with hommous, soya yoguart,etc.
If you don't feel like eating anything for breakfast have a smoothie or meal shake wit victimins in. Report It

    you should eat lunch
    and you should eat dinner.

    if you don't eat much, then start by adding a little more food on each day.
    It's really not good for you to be skipping meals.

    i'm not trying to sound like a mom, but really, please eat.

    You may not think your anorexic, but your words say something different. "i really never want to eat anymore" is never a good sign and is indicative of a possible eating disorder.

    Yes, it's very bad for you to skip breakfast, barely eat lunch and hardly any dinner.

    Please speak to a professional about this before it's too late for you.

    I'm a little worried too. You're not pregnant, right? I didn't think so. You're too smart for that to be the case.
    I really think it's time to see a doctor. A blood test could show exactly what it is. I'm sure it's no big deal, but please make an appt. tomorrow. OK?? Good .

    Sure you're not depressed? That exact thing happened to me when I went through depression.

    How long has this been going on? I know that I went through a phase where I only ate one meal every two days over the course of two weeks, and I was never hungry. If your mental state is intense for some reason, that could be the reason. It also might be a result of you not being very active. If you manage to eat breakfast, it will prevent your stomach from shrinking and you're more likely to be hungry.

    force it down! seriously, u should tell someone about it, like a doctor. just try to eat, k?? maybe you're just sick....

    All I can say if you can get a least one meal down a day, make it breakfast, your first meal is when your metabolism kicks into high gear. I actually have reversed my meals and ate supper in a.m., lunch as lunch, and a bowl of cereal for supper, IT WORKED. The reason is you eat a large meal at night when you are getting ready to go to sleep, bad idea, if you eat the best you can in the a.m. your body will work all day to work it off. There are many products that you can get OTC that will actually help make you hungry, legally. Good luck, you might want to let your doctor know what's going on, as a nurse there are many factors that can be causing this. Good luck to you.

    It's OK if that happens for few days in the month but if it's permanent it's not, even if you don't feel like eating you must still feel hungry so eat even if you don't feel like it, once you start to eat you'll want more.
