How big should your six daily meals be??!


Question: I've tried the "6 daily meals" thing, and yes, with healthy food, but I felt like I was only eating more and gaining weight. I was wondering if I eat too little or too much to be "healthy?"
Is it ok to only eat 5 males a day?? (one snack between breakfast and lunch, and one between lunch and dinner).
I'm like.. NEVER hungry, so when I eat food OTHER than when I DO get hungry, it makes me feel full for a long time. Usually, between lunch and dinner I'll eat a few baby carrots (with Ranch dressing) or light yogurt, or drink a class of organic milk, or organic juice.

Does this sound good enough?? Anything i should improve?

The point of the 6 daily meals is so you don't feel hungry. If you feel hungry, you aren't eating enough. It takes some time to get used to the 6 meal plan. What you need to do is figure how many calories you should take in per day (based on height, weight and activity level and weight gain/loss/maintenance goal) and then determine how much you should eat per meal. I need to take in 1800-1900 calories per day to maintain my weight. So I have 3-100 calorie snacks per day, so if I take in 1800 calories that day that leaves 1500 calories for meals and drinks for the rest of the day.

i only have 3 meals daily... and im pretty healthy and in good shape

the size of your fist

dont eat if your not hungary especially if it makes your feel really full
