Im obese and having health problems?!


Question: hi im 20, im 497 pounds. I'm starting to walk to the other room and back, which really tires me out for the rest of the day, because thats what the response was in my other question. But i havnt got the willpower to give up my 3 takeaway a day routine. I am worried for my health now as i get servere chest pains and aches around where my heart is as if i have bruised my heart or something i need some help

I used to weigh 300 lbs and suffered some of the same symptoms you have now. I tried many "diets", they don't work. I finally found a plan that I could stick to, didn't give up the foods I like, and I have now lost 100 lbs. I have kept that weight off for over 5 years now. Maybe you can try doing some simple stretches to start off. But you really need to see a licensed dietition or nutritionist to really help you out more. Maybe call around to see if anyone can make a house call? And if you cant stop eating take-away, try to find healthier take away, like salads and fruit or even baked over fried.

If you are having pains, you need to get to a doctor.

you dont have the will power to give up takeaway but you do have the willpower to eat yourself to death? I've been there buddy- actually i was about your age too. Stop making excuses. get off your fat bum and walk around the block. Exhausted? you need to get to the point where you thinkyou are going to die from exhaustion and then take one more step. It sucks but its the ONLY way.

i think you should start slowly cut out 1 of the take aways today and start to do a little bit of walking do the same everyday until you feel a bit more comfy then go a little bit further but go and see your doctor before you do anything x
