No, its not unhealthy it just means you work out very hard. Keep in mind what your goals are. If your at an average of 190-210 then I keep it at the rate for 70% of the work out and make it lower the other 30%.

If you dont change your heart rate then its not very good. You want to make the work out effective especially if you are doing cardio.

Run for ten minutes, walk for 2-3. Thats the right way to do it, your results will improve...

Hope this helps

don't worry about it, when you get into better shape your endurance will increase and your heart rate will drop, keep pushing yourself

if you are fit and young then no. there is actually a movement in the fitness industry to lift the heart rate system by 10 beats or so. because they say 220 minus your age is your max heart rate you should be working at. there is a teacher at my old school who is 65 years old and regularly takes his heart rate over 170. I used to be a mad keen swimmer and the average session would see our heart rates over 185 for a 2 hour cardio session. just make sure you keep an eye on it.

every ones rate is different but there are some practical standards.
my resting rate is about 68/ some very conditioned athletes can be in the 50's/ while running on a treadmill my rate gets up to about 165. 170 to 175 if I am really pushing it.
you want your rate to increase dramatically over your resting rate to condition your heart. you don't want to strain your heart or cause a failure.
you can look up target zones on line , they are based on gender age and resting rate. But just in general I would say that over 200 for any extended period sounds dangerous.
you should start out a little slower and maybe workout longer.

A lot of factors go into a pulse reading....you didn't say what you doing to have a rate that high....or what condition level you consider yourself...Your weight, fat content, hight etc...When I'm lifting heavy I rarely get above 105. On cardio days at 4mph, no incline, 30 minutes it levels out in the 117 to 120 range, but falls quickly when I slow down...a rate of 190 is a bit high, I'd look into that a little further. For my age and condition a rate of 180 would be OK, but not to maintain that for long periods of time, maybe five minutes...I've been at 180 a number of times and it feels as if I'm going to explode...
