How big do you have to be to be considered "fat"?!

Question: Would you say it's any woman who wears a double digit size? Plus size? Other definition?

Eh, fat is such a harsh word. I wouldn't use it at all, scientifically, they say the gauge is obesity--but then you have to think of factors such as bone and muscle mass.

That aside, it also depends greatly on the area you're from. I'm from Asia hence double digit sizes are slightly uncommon since we're small tiny people with smaller bone and muscle mass as opposed to Caucasians. The average size for Asians are around size 6-12.

However, traveling from country to country and being partly Caucasian as well, I'm average on the Asian BMI scale however, on the US scale, I'm very much underweight. I'm also a size 2-4 in Asia or a Small while I'm a size 0 - 2 in the US. Size 12 in the US isn't exactly big, if you ask my opinion. :) I mean, Caucasians have slamming height if you ask me (and yes, that's something I failed to inherit :c).

If your BMI is overweight , obese or very obese then that's fat to me.

Size 10 isn't "fat" in my book!

it goes by your height aswell if your tall you could be a size 16 and not look it the best thing is 2 be healthy and happy

I think you can be up to a 14lbs over weight and still look good and carry it well it all depends on the person

when u are more than 150 pounds

Nah, only when they actually look fat.
My cousin is a size 11, she looks normal not even overweight.

Only an ignorant person would think any woman that wears a size in the double digits is automatically fat.

The real definition of fat is when your body fat percentage is too high. For a woman 30%+ body fat is 'overfat' and 35%+ is 'obese'. So check your body fat percentage to find out if you are too fat and not the label on your clothes.
