Anoerxic's don't ever get to the point they actually start eating again like a "yo-yo" dieter does.

yoyo means you eat and then binge.
anorexics don't eat at all.

what happens is at first you lose weight fast, then it slows and when you do eat your body will save all the calories it can, if you dont eat eventually your body will start "eating" itself and by this time you will be having serious health problems. sometimes these problems cant be reversed and you will live with them the rest of your life.

Well, I won't be answering this question, but there is one thing I must tell you:
If you are planning on losing weight/pounds etc., then eat a LOT. Eat your three meals everyday, and eat the right things as well - veggies, fruits, grain, that sort. Eat, and eat, and eat. You do not get fat if ou eat the right food a lot. Because starving just makes you fat if you are going to eat like, once every 2 - 3 days. You body will store up the food and make it fat.

It is because that term applies to people who are naturally larger. The yo-yoing has to do with set weights being raised repeatedly. Most people who are Anorexic are not larger to begin with and don't gain the weight back like a bigger person would. Here is a study that talks about this effect.
