I need help on how to lose some weight on my stomach and thighs....?!


Question: ive got kind of fat thighs and my stomach is getting a bit of flab that i want gone...
my mum said situps..
is there anything else?


im 15.. and want to look good in april for my 16th..
id like to wear a pair of skinny jeans.. but at the moment.. i cant get away with looking good in them lol

Well this probably won't be the most popular answer, but the truth is that you can't spot target specific body areas and lose fat from them only. You can do situps and other exercises to build the muscles in that area, and you will build muscle, but if that alone is not enough to remove all of the fat (and it may not be) then you'll just have good muscle strength covered by fat :P.

Try eating a healthier diet overall with less sodas and processed sugars and more natural foods and natural sugars. Exercising should be something you do on a regular basis, not just some kind of emergency control fo having fatty thighs. Develop exercise and good diet to be something regular and your fat will go away for good.

yh sit ups are gud but u hav to keep up like u have to do it at least 3 times a week or it wont work

Eat healthy, excercise regulary and just feel happy the way u are! :)

Hey! April 16th is kinda soon, but i guess excersizing would be the best way. Just go to the gym and work out a couple times a week. But dont go on a strict diet, because as you probably know, thats not healthy. Just cut out your JUNK. Junk is responsible for a lot of fat on our bodies these days!

You can not target fat loss

The key is: Diet Diet Diet, then exercise:

You need to eat 5-6 small meals a day. Eat some protein with each meal! Cut out all refined sugar!!! Also add more fiber. The fiber and protein will fill you up, helping you to cut down on your unhealthy eating. Also by eating more than 3 meals spread out through the day you will kick your metabolism in high gear. Here is a general meal for a day:

Breakfast: 2 poached eggs
whole wheat toast
1/2 cup fruit

Snack: Cottage Cheese with veggie

Lunch: Turkey, lettuce, tomato, whole wheat bread sandwich
1/2 cup fruit

Snack: Protein Shake

Dinner: Turkey Burger ( no bun )
Side of brown rice
Side of Broc.




Then exercise regularly 4-5 days a week. Do both cardio and lifting. But on days that you do both. Do lifting before your cardio and you will maximize your fat burn. Cardio can be a sport: basketball, soccer, football, anything with losts of movement. Golf is a no no.

So Example :

Monday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
Tuesday - 1 hour lifting
Wednesday - Rest
Thrusday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
Friday - 1 hour lifting
Saturday - Rest
Sunday - 30 mins lifting then 1 hr cardio
