I think my friend is getting anorexic. are these symptoms of anorexia?!

Question: she says she is eating healthy (although she eats really small amounts of food- she mostly eats salads and rice cakes), she is exercising to lose calories, she finds excuses for not eating, she doesn't like going out (she used to like going out), most times (not always) she is moody, she really feels cold (even when it's just cool). she gets angry when we tell her to eat and she thinks she is fat (she gained about 5kg during summer so she started dieting, she lost the extra kg but she still thinks she is fat)

I'm not an expert or anything, but I know a few anorexic people, and I would say probably, but need more info.

YES! You are a good friend to notice these things and want to help. Tell her that you really care about her but you are afraid she is hurting her body. These are the early warning signs and it might hurt you to do, but you need to tell her parents or a trusted adult at the school because she probably needs help. Kudos to you for being so alert. She will have a better chance at pulling out of it if you catch it early enough.

I would say , most likely yes. If her weight drops to an unhealthy point. I would suggest you tell someone about it.

I'm sorry, but I think there is a possibility that your friend is anorexic. I think that you should talk to, but don't use, "you" word, it will make you friend feel bad about them self. Try to convince them to talk you someone, or even see a doctor. Keep an eye on your friends. Hope everything works out okay.
