How can i get bigger muscles?!

Question: Hello, I am 17 years old. I work out every day for like 2 to 3 hours, the problem is I have been working out a lot but I don't see results, i mean i got bigger somewhat but i still need to get bigger. I used to take protein but I hear that protein makes you fat, also what could be some things that could help me get bigger muscles? I'm 6 feet tall.

Thank you

One of the problems is that you are working out every day. You should give your muscles a chance to rest and rebuild. Work your arms one day, your legs the next, arms, legs, giving them a day to rebuild. Also, are you making sure that you are working the opposing muscles-biceps and triceps, chest and shoulders. Also are you doing a lot of reps with low weights or are you GRADUALLY increasing the weight over a period of time. Are you working the muscle to fatigue or are you just going for a while. Protein is okay, but make sure you are also eating regular meals too. And drinking a lot of water. All of this will make a difference.

well for 1 protein doesn't make you fatter and if you don't eat protein and you work out you won't gain as much muscle i know from experience. And the reason you don't see a difference is because there is such a thing as fast ansd slow pase muscle and if you have slow pase muscle wich i,m sure you do given from your explanation you wont get bigger from working out but you will get stronger.

more weight?
or do omre repititions with less weight.
think F.I.T.
frequency, intensity, time. :]

i think you should try to find more things good to eat like salads and vegetables it really works very well and try to work out maybe atleast 5 hours away but dont stop keep moving and youll make an improvement

eat more protein and work the calories off.

weight = mass
lift heavy or heavier

and throw in some cardio

you want to get big, make sure you consume .8 grams of protein for every pound you weigh. So you can stick to protein shakes, don't make you fat. Drink water or skim milk with it if you want.
