How can i gain quick weight and muscle?!


Question: Im a 15 year old male 5'9 111 lbs and play varsity basketball and practice and workout every other day doing it. i can shoot far shots that take strength to make but i just look really skinny and weak... i think i just have a high metabolism and skinny bones any ideas?

I've been in sports since i was about five and i began wrestling several years ago so i have some experience in gaining and losing weight. If you want to gain muscle mass you should lift weights 3-4 times a week excersizing different alternating muscle groups each day. For example, biceps and triceps one day, chest and back the next day, and calves and quads another day. If you want to be toned you should do 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps with a lower weight. Since it seems you are trying to gain muscle mass try higher weights at 5-7 reps. You don't need to eat any special foods really just lots of protein and (good)carbs. I hope this helps.

It is right about your age where you can actually start to bulk up, but not usually before the age of 14 or 15. Try eating plenty of protein and veggies along with working out with weights. Do less sets, but with more weight. Work the chest and arm muscles (push-ups are great if you have no weights, for both arm and chest). Squats are great for your legs if you have no weights. Jogging/running just makes you lose weight and get thinner, so don't do too much of that, although 1 mile three times a week is okay.

If you want to gain muscle, eat your regular meals and work out as usual, but whenever you eat drink a slimfast. The diet drink is consumed in the place of a meal, so drinking 1 with your regular meals would be like eating twice in one sitting, without being uncomfortably full. Plus, it is really good for you.

im the same way you are, little shorter but a fast *** metabolism and im 16. what i use is a drink called no xplode. this is incredible! i was seeing bigger defination and weight increase on bench in about 2 weeks
