I havent eaten in 3 days..?!


Question: is that bad?

i dont eat for like 3 days,and then ill eat a couple fruit(lyk grapes,and strawberries) and drink some water,and then three days again. <---- and keep doing the same routine.

is this bad?
i have been going this scince november.
i wear a size one right now...and i have been losing alot of weight.
is theres something wrong with that?or lyk doing that?is there something wrong with me?

Ok, firstly, dont start thinking there is anything wrong with you, or you may become resigned to these thoughts and lose motivation to change.

Secondly, this is bad, because your body will have adapted to your low energy intake by eating muscle tissue and converting it to energy. This is not a good situation to be in.

I have an idea that may work:
Start exercising. Do push-ups, sit-ups, and go running, but at medium intensity, not all-out, as your body will need time to adjust to the change in energy requirement.

The increased energy requirement should cause you to start feeling hungry again, and you will slowly start to get back up to a healthy diet.

It would probably also be wise to contact a doctor.

Whatever you do, remain optimistic. Believe in yourself and try everything to get back to a normal diet. It is important that you do this ASAP.

Start forcing yourself to eat progressively larger amounts straight away as well. You may see some of it again to start off with, but keep at it until your body becomes used to relying mainly on external energy sources again.

It's weird that you asked this though, cause I asked the same thing on another site last week.
Some people told me it could be a digestion problem some said depression, just go to the doctor ok, this could be a serious problem.

thats is of course not healthy.. im pretty sure you know what a proper diet is and since you dont follow it is a problem.
do you do it by choice or does it just happen?
is it just happens then maybe you are anemic and perhaps there is a health issue that you need to check for.

On a serious note, you know its not normal. If that was normal then there wouldn't be Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Eat woman!

yes it's bad. You have an eating disorder, you're gonna die or just make yourself look really old and decrepit if you don't stop.

I would definately go see the doctor ASAP. I have never gone that long without eating, but sometimes I wish I could ( I am ALWAYS hungry).

My question is, are you hungry, and ignoring the hunger, or are you not hungry at all. You do need to eat, but if you are not hungry, I would definately go see someone.

If its anything, I would grab a glass of milk or soymilk for some sustenance. You can eat something that will give you protein (so your muscles dont start eating themselves)until you make it to the doctor.

first of all even if your daily diet was grapes and strawberries you won't get all the nutrients. fruits are healthy, but vegetables and WHOLE GRAINS are far more important.

As long as you drink a lot of fluids you'll be fine i guess, just don't force yourself. drink a lot of clear green/white tea it'll give you some strength

yes you should eat!!!! your not hungary cuz you dont want to be hungary.....you need food babe or something seriously bad could happen to you!

You need to keep your bodies engine burning by putting in food. your body can only last for so long doing this.
I suggest go to your doctors as soon as possible!
the weight lose is due to the fact your burning more calories than you put in.

don't eat beause you are hungry eat because it's what you need to do to survive. you should have 4-5 small meals a day.
just start eating a little then gradually eat a bit more. I used to skip a lot of meals. It's not healthy.

Unfortunatley I believe you are struggling with anorexia. It doesnt seem bad to you, and you might not take this advice, but honestly you will die if you keep this up. Do not be scared, just stop starving yourself and slowly eat more and more until you are on a regular diet again. See a proffesional and talk to your parents/guardian for support. If you love yourself stop now before your entire life revolves around your body. You dont feel that hungry because you dont want to believe it is unhealthy because you finally look skinny. Size one is mighty small and any smaller is even worse unless its natural. Good luck and I really hope you realize you need help and get it fast before you are really reeled in! Good luck:]
