Ways to put more muscle on my arms?!


Question: I got a weight set over the summer and I got really great results, but over the past few months I have come to a stand still. I have continously added more weight to the bench but I dont want to strain myself without a spotter. Any advice?

The whole point of building muscle IS to strain yourself.

Look into a bench that has "safety" pins near the bottom, used when you come to failure on a bench press.

Try other lifts such as dips, weighted pull ups and military press.

Masterbation......with cheese balls.

If you have some muscle on your arms, I wouldn't want to get too much. I knew a muscled up guy who developed a disease, and it was like the muscle turned bad or something. And on the positive side of not looking all that buff, I used to have great arms when I was younger, but still got beat in arm wrestling by a slender guy my own size. He hauled hay all the time and did all kinds of hard work. At the time I was just going to college. Anyway, looks aren't everything. Plus if you look good, people will expect more out of you. But if you don't look so buff, but are a lot stronger, you'll surprise people when it comes around.
