Answers: I know starving yourself is bad but im really fat 155lbs and only 13!

Obviously this person knows it's bad so why do people still try to give lectures on here? She will do it regardless so at least try to help her with the question.

Here's MY OWN experience:

A few months ago I had plastic surgery. The morning of the surgery I was told not to eat but for some reason after the surgery I didn't have an appetitie. In fact, I didn't have an appetite for almost two weeks afterwards. Not only that but due to the surgery I had done I could not eat solid foods because it would hurt so I could only drink liquids. Again, this didn't bother me because I had no appetite in the first place.

I wasn't trying to lose weight, I just couln't eat normal. For almost two weeks I was living on water, water with vitamins, jello(since it dissolved in my mouth), and papaya which is a fruit you can get in any supermarket. Some days I didn't eat at all and other days I would eat barely anything due to no appetite.

After I was healed and recovered, which was two weeks later I had lost 25lbs. Not only was I looking great, I felt great. But because this wasn't a weight loss plan, I started to eat normal and gained all the weight back. So starving yourself does work if you have the will power.

Now, I've tried dieting lately and NOTHING has worked for me. Since I went through that experience and lost weight I decided to try that method again. I am on my 4th day and I'm loving the way I look. I can tell I've lost some weight when I look in the mirror. In the past 4 days I've been drinking alot of water as well as some glasses of orange juice, jello, and I just had an apple. I don't want my body to get to used to not having anything so have something healthy at least. I'm losing weight and this method is working for me. I know it's NOT healthy and I'm sure the person asking the question knows but it's our life and I just wanted to share my experience with you. One thing is for sure, don't make this a long-term thing. I plan on doing this for just a week and then I'm going to slowly start eating more WHILE EXERCISING which is VERY important to maintain that weight you've just lost. Slowly start to eat little veggies until you start eating normal again but always exercise afterwards. Remember, DON'T DO THIS FOR MORE THAN TWO WEEKS AT MOST because then you might not be able to eat normal again. Also, there are side effects to take into consideration like fatigue, pale in the face, weak, and dizziness, etc.

Before I go I will say this. There are better ways to lose weight but ultimately it's your decision on how you want to go about that. You know what's good and what's bad. I'm sharing my experience with you in case you decide to starve yourself because that is the type of answer you want, i'm sure.

Take care and I wish you the best!

Umm hun theres No good way to starve yourself just exersize and thats only baby fat u never know it might just fall off when u get a lil older

You need to work out and eat healthy. Get active, if you starve yourself, you will have no energy you can get sick more easily and you will feel like crap, the bummer is, you will also gain all that weight right back once you are done being anorexic.

Keep track of your calories, set realistic goals.

Eat nothing but fruit and vegetables. They are mostly water and fiber. if you want to lose weight quickly, get into a weight resistance program. Lifting weights will shred pounds most efficiently.

just drink water i guess and dont eat cause u seem pretty convinced if u dont drink then ull get de haydrated

Starve yourself, why not just eat healthy and excersize. Its good that your concerned about your health as you are a little overweight, but you should diet, not starve.

uhh dont eat thats not health put thats what u want 2 hear when u feel hungry drink water but when u start eating again ur gonna gain all the weight back

You're going to become anorexic and then you're going to look like a skeleton and no amount of weight that you have is ever going to be acceptable.

You're hair is going to fall out and your body is going to get disgusting because you're not nourishing it.

To be healthy and get weight down. Eat at least 3 meals a day and exercise three times a week.

And I agree with the other person. It is probably just baby fat. You're only 13... Don't mess up your life.

starving yourself SLOWS DOWN your metabolism and when you do decide to eat, the "water weight" that you lost comes back very rapidly.
if u want to diet, cut down your calorie intake. consume less carbs. the only good way to starve yourself is not simply not eat, but im telling you, the weight will pile right back on easier than if you excercise and eat less.
drinking green tea and drinking a lot of water do aid in weight loss.

my cousin DIED of anorexia so i will just tell you to not fcking stave urself ok?

why not eat like hard boiled eggs for breakfast and half grpaefruit and lunch tuna salad(i place tuna on top of lettuce cucumber and celery) and dinner veggies chicken breast or steak..?snack beef jerky or apple?

i dnt think you shud, bt if you do, drink loads of water, coke zero for da hunger pains, then sugar free red bull (only 10 cals) for energy.
but be warned you will be really moody and agitated, and will shout at people. + feel like crap .so if dats what you want to go through then its up 2 you.
but just make sure you drink loads of water+ 1 vitiamin tablets a day.

I guess you knew wot people were going to say, so one side of me says why did you ask the qwestion in the first place!! But then the supportive side of me kicks in and says that you were very brave to ask.

At least you realise that you might have a problem and I give you 10 out of 10 for wanting to do something about it.

But i must stress that while starving yourself may make you lose a few pounds you will make your self ill in the process.
I go to Slimming World classes and it is great. There is a young girl there who is also thirteen and her mum comes alomg with her. Together they listen to other peoples ups and downs and find out the sensible things to do. They also have the full support of the consultant (who runs the group) and all the other members. Nobody is ridiculed and if you dont want other people to know how much you lose(or sometimes gain, yes it does happen) then nothing will be mentioned.

But in the long run you cant do this by yourself whichever way you decide to go about it. You really do need the support of your family or somebody close to you especially the person who cooks your meals. Good Luck.
