How to eat more protein?!


Question: alright. i know that meats have protein and i try to eat meat everynight for dinner, and in my lunch somehow. but i need more, i know i do. so what are some foods that are REALLY GOOD with protein. i know peanut butter is, but i'm sticking with peanut butter only once or twice a week because of the high calories.

so in general, what are some good (healthy) ways i can get more protein in a day?

Well first if you want a snack get a protein bar at the store, I found some hanging around in Zellers but I'm sure you can find some somewhere else to go take a look. Mine had 14g Protein.

And of course you can make yourself a protein shake or smoothie in the morning I'll post some links and you can see if any of them interest you. {You need a blender}

Nuts(peanuts,pistacios,cashews)

try tuna,or eggs. a good powder wont hurt

there are powders but those are very high ca;orie too

if you est salads alot add chickens, or different nuts to it

My fav way to add protein to my diet is tuna. It's so easy to open a can and eat it or add it to a spinach salad. Also get some protein power. You don't want to take in anymore than 45 grams at a time, it's too much all at once, your body can only absorb so much at once. You also want something with low carbs and if u can get a powder with icolide, (sorry hope that is spelled right) even better. The icolide helps break down the poweder making it mix better and even helping breaking it down so ur body may absorb even more of the protein. Also take your time drinking any protein shake.

Nutritional Yeast,
Cottage Cheese (low fat)
Vital Wheat Gluten

eat more eggs. spend some time eating more pork, the other white meat. protein powders work well, as does cheese. In fact, incorporating lots of varieties of cheese could also turn you into a food snob, so be careful. Stay away from Brie, it gummed me up.
