Strength to weight ratio question?!


Question: I always ask these types of questions to waste points

If someone is heavier and they do full bodyweight exercises like chins and dips will they build alot of strength

and if someone was 190 pounds doing 5 chins/dips at a normal pace would they build more strength than a 120 pound guy doing 12 dips/chin at a very slow pace

I'm no sport scientist, but I doubt the extra weight on the person would have much effect. I have a much harder time doing crunches with a 12lb weight on my chest that I do when I was 20lbs heavier.

I could do pushups, of about 220lbs, but I can only bench 25lbs. Feels a hell of a lot different when the weight isn't part of you.
