You use mostly your calf muscle (back of lower leg) and your tricep muscle, (upper back arm). I don't think you would get your chest muscles, such as pecs. Do push-ups, bench press, or other workouts for thoughs.

leg muscles. such as, calves, hamstrings, and quads.

Maybe the littlest bit on chest muscles, but I doubt it.

Jumping Rope speeds up the metabolism and releases human growth hormone (not the steriod) which is used to burn off fat and build lean muscle throughout the entire body. Do this for about 10 min. a day daily and you'll see what I mean. The faster you jump rope the faster fat burns off and muscle starts to show just be sure you have a healthy diet of natural foods and lean meats.
