Would this be good for my diet...?!

Question: (Im 16)
I find it really hard to resist chocolate so how about this.

BREAKFAST:
Bran flakes with semi-skimmed milk
A jaffa cake

LUNCH
A ham sandwich in two slices of wholemeal bread
An apple

DINNER
Whatever my mum makes...could be a healthy Jacket potatoe or it could be pizza and chips
A jaffa cake

NOTHING AFTER THAT!!
If im feeling hungry im just gonna have a drink of water because my friend told he sometimes when you think your hungry your just thirsty - plus water will help with the detox of my skin.

=)

Hmm. Yes and no!

2 Jaffa Cakes a day is a good compromise if you're addicted to chocolate.

But you seriously need to eat more fruit and vegetables! Try putting a banana on your cereal, putting more salad into the sandwich, having salad or extra veg with whatever your mum makes. Also, if you're having pizza, do not have chips as well! You don't need two types of high fat carbohydrates with a meal! Have your pizza with salad.

Keep drinking lots of water, or anything you like to drink that isn't loaded with sugar. Semi skimmed milk will NOT make you fat. It has half the fat of "organic milk, straight from the cow". Don't start drinking that long-life crap, it's awful.

The best way to get over the chocolate addiction though, is to go 'cold turkey'. The problem with refined sugars is that they're really addictive. If you eat a little bit of chocolate, it perks up your blood sugar a little bit, which makes you feel good. But as it's a fast acting type of carbohydrate, it wears off really quickly, so your blood sugar drops and you start craving more chocolate or cake or whatever. If you eat slower acting carbs, and totally cut out chocolate, after about a week or 2, you just stop craving it. It's a bit horrible for a week or 2, but it's the only way to break the cycle. But if you must eat chocolate, Jaffa Cakes are a good choice.

Good luck with it all!

Where's the snot?

the jaffa cake sounds fattening.

sounds gr8t! and don't forget to exercise also! but yah, sounds gr8t. oh, and wats a jaffa cake?

A diet with jaffacakes and pizza and chips? That wont work.... wholewheat bread is good though. Make sure you eat 6 small portions a day instead of 3 big ones. Eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, wholewheat, it will make you feel filled longer. Drink a lot too, its healthy and fills your stomach too so you feel less hungry. All the best and ask your mum to make you healthy food!

That isn't a very healthy diet , semi-skimmed milk will make you fat you should only drink organic milk (straight out of the grass fed cow) or that kind of milk that comes in a box and you dont have to refrigerate it until you open it. Lunch ham sandwich is no good also because those are cold cuts. Whatever your mom makes for dinner eat a salad before you eat the main course. To be honest my friend, keep this up and you'll need more than a jaffa cake to save your life, wake up,eat well and exercise, don't forget the water.Enjoy.

lol people! ease up a little on the poor girl! ohhhh oh dear a WHOLE 2 jaffa cakes in a day oh now she will be soooo obese! *sarcasm*
Sorry
That diet sounds really boring and limiting too :(
