Now that my bf and I broke up, I can't stop working out..HELP?!


Question: Is it bad to continuously work out....for like 5 hours of weight lifting and ab sculpting? (im 14 if it matters) i feel that we broke up cuz im fat. im 5'3.5" (5ft 3 and a half inches), and 130 lbs. I KNOw im fat so dont make fun of me plz. I ate a whole whopping 1960 cals today...but starting tomorrow, ima eat 1400 cals. If i do 1 hour of weigt lifting (that keeps my heart rate up the whole time, and i lose about 500 cals from this), and 30 min of ab sculpting, will i lose 8-10lbs by Febuary 29?

You are not fat at all! You are at a healthy weight for your age and height! Do not listen to anybody calling you fat or even chunky. If you want to tone up a bit that is fine but you are not fat at all! Don't worry about a thing. And that boyfriend of yours wasnt good enough for you if he thought you were fat. Working out is great to tone up but don't over do it! :)

first of all you should make a scheduel. just try to eat 3 meals a day with some HEALTHY snacks in between. (veggies, fruits, pretzels, etc) then try to get a work out scheduel like 30 minutes- 1 hour of cardio or some sort of exercise. but you shouldnt count every single calorie and measure how much your working out so vigorously because that's just going to lead to an eating disorder or obsession with your weight. let loose. good luck.

You only weigh a little more than me, you're not fat...Maybe slow down on the excercising, Its good, but that much probally isn't...Trust me, if he broke up with you because of your weigh, he's a superficial jerk & you don't need him :) Find a nice guy that cares about YOU & not what you look like :)

You seem to be all over the place! Too many and confusing questions. Is it 5 hours a day you are exercising or week? My suggestion is 30-45 minutes of cardio(treadmill, bike or elliptical). following 20-30 minutes of weights. Please go to a health club for more info.

Please, if you are going to loose weight do it for yourself not because you think others don't like you for it. Work out because you want to stay healthy for yourself. 5 foot 3 and 130 lbs is not that fat. Yes, it is a little chunky for your age but, it's not fat. I am 5 foot 4 and weigh 130 lbs and I don't think I am fat. I could be thinner but I'm not fat. It seems as if your break up with your bf has left you a little insecure. You need to focus on some of the good things about you and not the bad.
My suggestion is to not weigh yourself. Work out about 5 days a week and eat healthy foods. Try to focus more so on how you look and not your weight. Some people are structured differently than others and will always weigh more. So, don't focus so much on your wieght, this will only drive you crazy.
