Excercise question?!


Question: i just joined a gym and i am 5,9 155lbs i want to gain strength and tone as wel as do cardio altrenating days between them can anyone tell me excerises i can do to accomplish thse goals im looking for a very intense workout.

If you are looking to build strength, longer rest periods in between sets will help. Cardio will help burn fat but at 5'9" 155lbs, it does not appear that you have very much fat on you. If just starting out, stick to the basics:

Dumbell Chest Incline
Dumbell Chest Flat
Pec Deck
BEnt over dumbell rows
Lat Pulldowns
Seated Rows
Barbell curls
Weighted dips
Tricep pushdowns
Dumbell shoulder press (arnold press)
Reverse pec deck (rear delts)
Squats
Calf raises
