yes, especially when you consider that that is how sumo wrestlers gain their weight, also when you consume calories right before bed, your body can't burn them because your doing nothing but sleeping, those extra calories are stored as fat, most of the fat stored in the stomach

I wouldnt suggest "pigging out" right before going to bed, but a midnight snack isnt so bad. Especially dont do this if youve already had dinner. I guess it would make u fatter.

yes it is bad because your metabolism has slowed down. to avoid this try drinking lots of water and keeping yourself busy. DON'T GO INTO THE KITCHEN! and eat a normal amount throughout the day so that you aren't starving before bed.

no, its not bad for you. eating before bed is just like eating anyother time. if you've eaten all the calories you should for your day before let's say 4:00, then if you eat before bed you just ate more calories than your body requried. if you eat only what your supposed to and have a meal before bed that fists in to your daily diet your fine. just remember to brush your teeth real good, bacteria love to go to town on morsels of food that fall between the cracks, ha.

well it can affect you because when you sleep, you're not doing any exercise or moving so you tend to gain mre weight at night. You can still have a light snack bofore bed though, that never hurt.

Eating before bed is generally a bad idea. See when you sleep your body is doing the least work, and therefore burning the least amount of calories. I would suggest going to bed at least two hours after your last meal. Even if all you do is sit on the couch and watch TV after you eat, and then go to bed. That is two hours your body is doing at least a little more work. If you find the need to eat right before bed unbearable I would suggest eating something healthy, and lowcal. Celery and Rice cakes are very good choices.

I don't know but it hurts your tummy in the morning. I'm trying to put on weight also. What you need to do is stick to a certain calorie mark, and that will help you gain weight. I'm sticking to around 4200calories a day and dancing.
