I cant stop eating wot should i do?!


Question: seriously i was suppost to be on a diet
and everytime i go and watch tv and start eating everything in the house
everyone like 1 year ago used to call me
'skinny' and one person said oh that girl will never get fat look at her
and now i cant stop eating !!!
and i put on so much weight!!
and some people i got a fat bumb!!
its terrible wot should i do
how can i stop
omg am so fat

I used to have the same problem. Here are some of the things that me and my friends have tried. Heads up, some of these suggestions might not work for you but don't get discouraged!!! Keep trying!!!
First thing you have to do is notice when you eat and what you're doing when you're eating. If you look at that first you might be able to change little things that you do which could help a lot. Second, notice if you are actually hungry when you eat. If your body is telling you that it needs food than eat something. Here are some tips that might help...

If you eat a lot when you watch t.v. you could either...
1. stop watching too much of it, only watch the shows that you "can't live without"
2. if you can't (or don't want to) stop watching tv, eat something healthy while watching it. such as peanut butter with apples instead of chips or cookies.

Some people (like me) just need to chew something. Try some gum.

If you find out that you eat out of boredom try to find different ways to keep yourself busy (besides watching tv ^_^). If you like to read, start a book; if your a crafty kind of person try drawing, writing, or visit a craft store to see if there is anything that intrests you; go for a walk outside; clean your room whatever it takes so that you are busy and not bored.

If you eat when you're alone, call a friend and talk for a while. Or go to someone's house and hang out.

It's going to be a trial and error kind of deal. But like I said if one thing doesn't work try something else. Don't stop eating. If you're physically hungry than eat but if you starve yourself you'll just become more hungry and then eat whatever is put infront of you. Also, treat yourself. It's ok to have a day where you can 'cheat' every once in a while, just don't do it all the time!! But if all else fails and you still are gaining weight tell your doctor. I know that no one likes to go to the doctor but weight gain is sometimes caused by chemical malfunctions in your body which your doctor would treat with medication (you would still have to watch what you eat though). Try everything else first.

Go to a counslier lol. You are binge eating. Atleast your eating though. Only eat when you are hungry!

Seek medical or Psychiatric help there may be other reasons you are like this.

Depression comes to mind

Are you depressed? Digesting carbohydrates is a natural anti-depressant, and you might be self-medicating. You should seek professional help to get to the root of the problem.

In the meantime, try to choose your foods well. If you must eat, eat things that are of the highest nutritional value: fruits, veggies, lots of salads, granola, tuna, cheese, nuts, and other things that fill you up on more than just air and simple carbs.

calm down, relax, and dont worry about what other ppl say about u, if u like the way u look, then dont even listen to them, but

if u dont like wht you look like, then do something about it until you look like what YOU think u shuld look like, and dont let anyone else to u anything else

if u want to make a change, then eat in moderation...

-instead of having a regular slice of cake, cut it in half and save the rest for another day...
-instead of eating a piece of candy for ur sweet tooth eat a sweet fruit like strawberries or pineapple
-instead of eating two pieces of chicken, have one...

it's as easy as u make it, u just have to be serious and really want it
