Stomach muscle exercises?!

Question: when I had my baby nearly 2 years ago my stomach muscles down the centre length ways streched (which generally happens to accomadate the baby) but mine were streched too far and didn't pull back together once I had the baby so now althought I don't weigh much different from before I had the baby I look bigger and my muscles can't pull anything in. Any ideas on excercises that could help this. My doctor recommened surgery!!

I suggest using an exercise ball.
Also, gut busters are amazing stomach exercises.
Lay flat on your back and grab something sturdy behind you. Lift your legs straight up in the air and lower them to the floor, then elevate them again trying to keep your legs straight. I call those gut-busters.
I usually have someone stand over my head and I hold on to their feet then have them push my legs down. That's how I usually do gut busters.
Try do get in some cardio workouts too.

Well if you want to get your muscles to be more defined and less "saggy" (no offence) then cardiovascular exercise is probably the best thing to do, these are just general things to do that make your heart rate go up and improves overall fitness of the whole body. Alternitively you could try something called crunches, which are practicly sit-ups but without rest in between each "crunch"....Or you could do what a proffesional doctor says, comon he will be talking some sense

pilates

cardiovascular exercise is probably the best thing to do
