Does Drinking more water help reduce sodium levels in the body?!

Question: If someone has an elevated serum sodium level... Yes, increased free water will help to reduce sodium levels. The big variables here have to do with... normal dietary intake, appropriate exercise/water intake (not getting dehydrated) and normal kidney function. There is such a thing as "water intoxication" if you take too much water. It is all a balance... that a healthy body can maintain homeostasis.

One problem with drinking too much water is that it will flush out all of the necessary salts that your body needs. Now if you're asking about drinking a ton of water to counteract a diet that is high in sodium, I wouldn't recommend it.
