Beef sticks and cheese for breakfast?!

Question: My daily breakfast menu seems to consist of beefsticks and/or deer sticks, beef summer sausage or deer bologna along with my choice of cheese for t he day. Would you consider this healthy? I hate to cook anymore and the smell of cooking makes me sick, even the smell of toast. I also have coffee and milk, not mixed, I drink both straight. In your opinion is it a healthy diet? Could this be the cause of my need for 18 different pills in the morning, 1 at noon and 2 in the evening?

I get it! You must be joking.

Meat amd cheese can only take you so far.

Man cannot live by beef and cheesetsicks alone!!

thats my fave snack! Beef and cheese!

Too much of anything can't be good. But if you like it and nothing else, what the hey? Go for it.

No that is not really healthy. if you dont like to cook then why dont you have cereal for breakfast or a bannana and yogurt??? There are lots of healthy choices out there!

This is an extremely poor choice for breakfast. Both are extremely high in fat content. You don't have to cook - there are some wonderful, very healthy cereals on the market now which leave you full and are good for you. Kashi Go Lean Crunch and Kashi Honey Almond Flax along with skim milk is an ideal breakfast. If you are taking 18 pills, you need to change a lot of things. First, make an appointment with a dietician and get on a more healthy diet and make better food choices. You need to be eating fresh fruits and vegetables (both cooked and raw), small amounts of baked chicken or fish, whole grain cereals and bread, skim milk and yogurt and lots of water. Next is exercise - 30 minutes per day minimum. Start slowly, going short distances and gradually, as you become more fit, increase the distance and speed until you are walking briskly for 30 minutes per day. Walking is easiest for most people. By changing just these two things (diet and exercise), you will lose some weight, your blood sugars will go down and your blood pressure will go down. Then, maybe your doctor can wean you off some of your medication. Pills are a short-term answer to a long-term problem and eventually, it takes more and more pills to compensate for poor choices and inactivity. The choice is yours.

eeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww...that's totally gross and unhealthy!!!!!! and what's with all the pills?????? that's completely unrelated unless they're for the high cholesterol you're going to get from all that cheese!!!!!

Well, I do applause you for not eating just pure junkfood, such as Cheetos and chips and whatnot, but at least you have two important food groups every day: Meat and Dairy.

Although, you really, really, need to eat more of your vegetables. If you don't like cooking, try to eat more salads, and you can put cheese, and ham pieces and whatnot on the salad. If you don't like salad, then eat some carrot sticks, and try dipping them in a little ranch. If you hate carrots, try celery with a bit of peanut butter on them. Celery isn't the best choice, because it isn't high in B vitamins. I would stick to broccoli, carrots, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and anything else that's not processed and made with artificial ingredients!!

Fruit is very important also! You need fruit everyday, even an apple will do. Try drinking 100% fruit juice; then you won't be at risk for scurvy or any other weird disease linked to people who don't get enough fruit in their diet.

As for the beefsticks/deersticks, and sausage, you probably should try to eat more fish, because fish has no fat on it, but gives you lots of protein. Be sure to not keep eating those sausages and and beefsticks, because they have too much fat in them. You will possibly get heart clotting, and maybe develop heart disease, a heart attack, or a stroke if you keep eating that stuff.

Sounds yummy to me:)

I LOVE high protein meals.

Should keep your brain going strong all day!
