Question: I just had a 3 pieces of candy [300 calories].

all I ate today was a half of sandwich so I don't think i'll gain that much weight.

But i'm still concerned about it.

Any tips and or suggestions would be great.

You will gain weight if all you eat is half a sandwhich and 3 pieces of candy, period.

Your body goes into what is called "starvation mode", and rather than burning fat, it stores fat for the days to come that food is "scarce". This is its way of staying alive. If you aren't feeding your body, it will become very fatigued (to preserve energy).

You MUST eat to lose weight. Ironic, I know. But when you eat small amounts of everything your body will know that there is NOT a food scarcity and it will lose extra weight, as long as you stay under the 1300 caloric intake per day, and above 1000 calories.

By the way, if you stay strict on a diet for a while and then cheat, you do not gain weight. Unless you eat 6 pieces of pecan pie (which is like 500 cal per piece, which would add up to ~3000 calories = 1 pound), your metabolism will most likely burn off the extra carbs/sucrose before the next day.

Remember to eat. Small amounts. Like handfuls of every kind of food, like every 2 or 3 hours. That way you WILL lose weight and you can eat EVERYTHING without feeling guilty. =)

What you do 80% of the time is what matters.

You should not be worried about cheating on your diet at all. Just think of it as a slip-up and carry on. You can do better tomorrow.

However, you should be worried about the amount your eating. That's definitely not enough for a day, even with all the candy. Try to stay above 1200 calories, okay? If you feel like you can't do that, then there's something else going on besides just a diet.

If you need support or anything, email me.

You won't gain weight from that. You won't even gain weight from that sandwich.

don't worry... still very few cal's so you'll be okay...

You sound like you have a major problem- but its not weight gain!!! You are heading down the anorexic path. Half a sandwich??? You need to eat healthy, not starve yourself. Forget about the "cheat", go and eat some veggies and talk to someone about your concerns.

Actually, you starved yourself today.
It takes 3500 calories to gain or lose a pound. You ate about 700 calories, maybe less, today. Eating that little will actually slow down you metabolism and make you gain weight in the long run.
You have to eat small meals often to keep you metabolism working and guarentee weight loss.

you need to not worry about wat you eat and jus run and do sit ups it does more and you dont have to be hungry anymore plus you should eat that little it is bad for you
