I'm really scared of pills all together, all the side effects and risks, but i dont hardly eat, and am an active person outside of work so it seems like diet pills would be worth a shot. Never take diet pills unless you want your body to get fu*ked up. Basically, a lot of diet pills work like taking Speed to speed up your metabolism. Sometimes they'll put high levels of chromium or caffeine (a stimulant) which can be toxic. You may feel your heart racing uncomfortably. What's bad about diet supplements is that they aren't very well regulated by the FDA. There's no law stating that companies are required to list every ingredient they use on their labels. So basically, companies can include ingredients (toxic or not) in their diet pills and you will never know about it...then of course you could get sick from it and by then, it's too late. A lot of the ingredients they use haven't even been backed up by concrete scientific evidence that they even have a positive effect on your weight. Diet pill companies are just out to get your money. Think about how expensive they are and realize that there is a 97% failure rate in dieting. So knowing that, they will take advantage of it and throw anything into a pill and try to convince you that it's gonna work. The only thing that works (at least in the long run) is a lifestyle change in eating and exercise habits.

Anyway, there's tons I could tell you about weight loss but it would go on forever but basically, you just need to watch what you eat. Cut down on portion sizes but don't starve yourself. Never eat less than 1,000 cuz if you do, you'll be lacking essential nutrients that your body needs to function properly and be healthy. Eat lots of fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean protein. Find out your BMR and subtract 500 calories out through food and exercise and that's how many calories you should stick to. If you don't know your BMR, i'm sure there's plenty of BMR calculators you can find on the internet. Drink plenty of fluids and exercise at least 3 times a week doing both cardio and weight training.

If you want to do a formal diet that is actually healthy for you and will work, I suggest you try Weight Watchers. Weight Watchers is great because they basically allow you to eat almost anything you want with their points system. You're allowed so many points for the day and once you use up all your points, you're not allowed to eat anything else for the day. So it teaches you to make good choices. It's like, you can have that piece of chocolate cake but it will cost you extra points, so for the rest of the day, you'll have to eat healthy to compensate for it. It's great because you won't feel like you're depriving yourself of those foods you love and you'll still lose weight. If you learn how to make those good choices, you'll be set for life and if you can continue making those good choices, you're more likely to keep that weight off in the long run. That's why I recommend Weight Watchers over Jenny Craig. Jenny Craig is alright except the fact that they provide the food for you- that doesn't teach you how to make those good choices because it's all handed to you.

don't take diet pills it will effect ur life later on

Some people can lose weight on diet pills. Here's the problem with them. Besides being poison (they are certainly not food!), they work only as long as you take them. Once you stop, you stop losing weight. Worse, because you didn't change your lifestyle to eat less and exercise more, you will start gaining weight, again. And if you are REALLY unfortunate, you will have messed up your metabolism so badly from the drugs (yes, they are drugs, like cocaine, except legal) that you will start ballooning out and gaining weight at a frightening rate. And in the meantime, your wallet was emptied by the hucksters that sold you the pills in the first place.

Just say NO to diet pills. Eat less. Exercise more. There is no safe or effective alternative.

Diet pills really arent good 4 u. I kno they help supress ur appetite and boost ur energy but tha energy boost isnt always good. It increases ur heart rate and thats how u get tha energy boost so that puts u at risk of a heart attack. It can also mess wit ur kidneys but if u want 2 try anywayz, my mom was taking sumthan called phentromine at one point in time and is about 2 start bak (so she says) lol. Im 14 so thats tha best I can do. I jus go about a week eating maybe once a day and at tha end of tha week ive lost 2-3 pounds. Ive lost 24 ponds since skool started in August.

well most of the time diet pills really dont work anymore here are the dangers of some

the pills are a quick fix and may work but do you want to be on pills for ever, they eventually affect your moods and emotions so you end up with another problem. try a new job, you say its boring so get out there and start looking for something that will get you off ya **** and be enjoyable

Yes i do its called the patch you wear it on the areas that u need to lose weight. Thats all u do no side affects but its for women only look it up on google. Its called the pink patch wieght loss it really works.

Diet pills are actually more bad news then good. They are mainly used for a "quick fix" and you may lose weight, but as soon as you stop taking them, the weight piles back on, normally worse than it was to start with.
While taking diet pills, the body doesn't receive the sustainable amount of vitamins and minerals, and leaves you feeling emotionally and physically drained, which will also affect everyday performance, moods, depression etc.

With a busy lifestyle you really need to watch WHAT you put in your mouth, not the AMOUNT you put in. (for example: a Big Mac from McDonalds VS a FULL plate of Vegies, pasta, meat etc - You're actually eating more with the full plate, but it contains less fat, and provides more nutrients - ALSO cheaper if you make it home!)
Eating healthily will make you feel better and more will give you more energy, and it doesn't have to be boring!

* If you find yourself watching TV when you're not at work (or talking on the phone), you could try exercising while watching the news or your favourite TV program. This could be as simple as a treadmill, lifting small weights, stretches, Pilate moves etc. Whatever you feel like!
* Walking instead of driving is a great, cheap way to lose weight and become more energetic.
* Taking the stairs instead of the escalator or lift.

Please don't resort to diet pills, they're bad for your health and can be addictive! (leading to eating disorders etc)
Goodluck, and remember, small changes in your everyday life can make HUGE changes in your life in general!

yea dont take any pills. also the fact that u hardly eat could * a reason ur gaining weight. if u dont eat enough ur body enters a protective "starvation" state where u retain all fat and start 2 burn off protein (mainly in ur muscles). u need 2 eat healthy foods throughout the day 2 keep ur metabolism burning. u definitely need 2 keep working out
