Is it impossible to change your god-given body shape?!


Question: because of genetics i am very short (5 feet even) and have an hourglass figure. i have been working out and doing the weight watchers diet and if anything i have noticed my midsection is now thinner so my hips and chest actually look BIGGER then before (not that ive had complaints from men lol) i was hoping that when i lost weight at least a little bit of it would be from my hip area cuz i have always hated my hips and at 22 i dont think im gunna like them anytime soon. i assumed it was genetic cuz my nana had the same body shape as me and i thought no matter what i do i will always have an hourglass shape but my best friend thinks if i keep working out so much i will lose ALL my curves and have a boyish figure....please tell me shes incorrect..i want to tone down my curves not get rid of them completely :(

no u cant lose your hips because its not fat that gives u the hour-glass look its actually more your bone with a little help of fat, so even if you lose all the fat there you'll still have curves =D

No, working out won't completely change your body figure. It will actually probably help define it.

There are very real but painful ways to make legs longer but I don't think it is available for matured bodies.

I doubt you'll lose your curves. If you're in shape large hips are not a bad thing at all.

ummm well if the boys dnt complain then your prob fine....sel consious maybe , it dnt sound that bad especially wen you have an hourglass figure like u sed

I think that you should just pray to God then if he answers your prayer then you will not lose your curves:d

you can not change shape but make it beautful with exercise everything has exercise and minimum 21 days will take to in shape(beautiful)

No - it's all genetics. You should be happy to have the curves!

Of course.
Don't look at your body or try to change from an outside...perspective..
Do some fairly serious training.
Push, pull, run, ride (bike or board or whatever)
do what feels good and develop stamina.
of course you'll change your body type.
You can even change your metabolism....(slow-fast...)

u can do any thing if u have the enough courage to do
