Whoever said biking will not help isn't exactly on point... Biking is cardio, cardio burns calories, calories add up to pounds of fat, blah blah blah... A good weight loss plan combines cardio, strength training, and a healthy balanced diet. Diet is a HUGE part of it so don't just think you can work out and see the effects you want- you need to stick to healthy eating as well. Water is a GREAT tool in dieting, helps keep you full so you don't snack as much and pushes nasty stuff out of your body. Try to keep some on you at all times and if you have the urge to eat unhealthily DRINK THE WATER- many times our bodies trick us into thinking we're hungry when we're just thirsty. If you get off track with the dieting, try to get right back on with your next meal/snack time- instead of a couple DAYS of bad eating, try to break it down to maybe a meal or two you shouldn't have had- don't let yourself escape for a full day if possible. Healthy eating is a lifestyle, not really a "diet" anyways. Consistency is key when you're trying to lose weight so just keep it up and the results will follow! Maybe try doing some reps with light weights to help you develop lean muscle which is great for having a toned body. Hope some of this helps!

Try crunches and push ups. Biking will not help much.

I'd stick with it. You will see results soon.

you might lose weight

Burn more calories than you take in.
THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO LOSE INCHES!!!!

Don't get so caught up on how much you are doing. Be more concerned with the effect and productivity of what you are doing.

5'8" 145 - you probably don't have a lot of inches to lose in the first place. But yes, a healthy diet + exercise is the way to go.

what your are doing should be good just make sure you have lots of cardio because thats when you burn the most calories the other classes that work you muscles are good for toneing. what you are doing is good try to up the cardio and make sure you eat properly all of the time

any cardio including biking will deffo help you lose some inches....the closer u are to ur ideal weight the longer it takes to come off....you seem to be doing a lot of different activities which is great in itself but also used different parts of the body etc so is a well balanced activity regime

dont worry about the couple of bad eating days...happens to everyone...just get back to what you had been doing and ull deffo lose the weight...u are deffo not back where u started...be patient with it and if u stick to it ull succeed

good luck

I noticed a huge difference when I change my diet to chicken and long grain rice. I used to eat it 4 times a day, now I only eat it once a day, but still seeing a difference in weight loss. You should also start doing circuit training. Lifting weights going from one exercise to the next with little or no break inbetween. Invest in 1-3 training sessions with a qualified trainer, and they will set you on a path for weight loss. Also, be cautious of your cardio, you want your heart rate to be at the correct rate because you could be losing muscle rather than fat. Again, consult a trainer for this.

You are doing more muscle than aerobic excercise it seems. If you take out the stability thing after the session is over and add a kickboxing class or just run a few times a week it will go a lot faster. Keep in mind that the muscle your adding will weigh more than you are losing. You do need to keep up the whole package of diet and excercise in order to see a difference. They say that depending on your height that every 10 or so pounds drops a size. Good luck

You are at a very healthy weight for your height. Sometimes this makes it harder to lose weight. If you are looking to lose inches then it is a matter of toning up.

The classes that you are taking are geared mostly towards strengthening your core muscles. That's very good for you, but may not show the results as much. You have to remember that this takes time. My suggestion would be to add in some weight lifting and resistance training to see more results. If you have a gym membership for these classes then you should also have access to the equipment. You don't have to overdo it, just do one circuit around the machines whenever you are at the gym and you should see more results.

at 5'8" 145, you're already at a healthy weight.. so if you want to lose even more inches, you're going to have to start getting really serious.. look into the P90X series.. that's for fit people who want to go from good to great..
