Best protein shake for muscle gain?!


Question: Okay I bought my first bottle of whey protein about a week ago. I have no problems with what I'm using, but I just bought it because I didn't really have time to shop around. (I'm using six star muscle from Wal_Mart). I heard Muscle Milk is good, but contains a lot more grams of fat than most protein shakes. I just want to know the name of the shake you use, or one that you know that would help build some nice muscle mass.

I'm 19 year old male, On a pretty good diet, I work out 6 days a week. (Not the same muscle groups within 48 hours) And I drink the protein shake after working out.

Whey is good but at the end of the day it adds up in the pocket. The best I reckon and the cheapest is in the supermarket called Complan and there are a few flavours. Its only about 8-10 bucks a box and thats all you need to build muscles. Drop your reps and do heavier weights. Try doing ones and twos for a few weeks and then go high reps less weight. Build and then condition. Get the foundation built up so when you are off it will carry you. Only do two exercises on each part three just kills. If you do them good you wouldnt make itto the third. Do push ups every night.Cross hands like you are doing a dive and put them under your chest laying down. This will build your triceps without weights and your chest and shoulders. Ive done weights for 17years. If anything is hurting or two hard to handle dont doit, do what feels good. Dont thrash the parts that dont need it, thrash the bits that do. Stop looking in the mirror it plays with your mind. Have a look once a week, not everyday, this helps you grow mentally without being a posser. Keep strict and propper than being a show off or try hard, people that have been doing it for years see it a s a jerk. Think about what you are doing in the gym before you get there and do what you are to do and dont talk alot and then others will pick up on that and leave you alone knowing that you are there to train not to act the goat. A good training is back and bicept-chest and tricept- back and shoulders- and calves and stomach after each training. Kia-kaha Stay strong

Anyone who knows anything about protein shakes takes Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard whey. It's inexpensive, gives 24g of protein, and a good dose of BCAA's. It also tastes good and mixes well. I wouldn't recommend anything by muscletech or BSN though. Too much extra junk in it.
