Serious answers please...?!

Question: I am having a hard time with firming my abs, I exercise everyday and the rest of my body is getting toned. Just my abs are not. It feels like I have a hard stomach underneath the skin. Is it my abs toning or something else? Any suggestions to help tone beside crunches would be appreciated!

if you sit there and do crunches galore it ussually doesnt help but acctually makes a pouch over the abs, what you should try is working with a medicine ball, and look into total ab work-out classes.

learn cheerleading or gymnasium :D

Abs muscles are one of the hardest groups to get 'on show'. You might have the hardest abs around, but unless you lose the stomach fat, you simply won't see them.

Pay attention to your calorie intake and focus on losing weight as well as exercising.

I have been working on my abs since xmas, and I'm starting to see results now. I have lost just enough weight around the stomach area by eating low calories and maintaining regular exercise.

Persistance and dedication is key. Educate yourself re the foods you eat as well.

Good luck :)

Yes Arnold Schwarzenegger says abs are made in the kitchen and not the gym. Same with Brad Pitt you can check bradpittworkout . com and you will see he doesnt do any crunches yet he always has a 6 pack. So how can you get rid of that gut you need to boost your metabolism and eat healthy. Most people have between 7 and 75 pounds of undigested food in their colon you need to get rid of that stuff, do cleanses. You probably will need to do some kind of cleansing fast. A juice fast can work miracles. The best book I know is The Miracle of Juice Fasting.

It depends what type of crunches you are doing, just normal up and down will tone them but you need to work on your external obliques and lower abs for better results

Leg raises are great for lower abs and you can work your external obliques the same way, you just need to change the action from lifting you legs strait up (together) to an angle, even bending your knees as well. Find the tricep dip machine to do this, but most gyms should have something for leg raises.

Any person to be able to show their ab muscles need to be at about 7% body fat. If your not near that work on it till you are. Your abs CANT bulge through your belly with fat on top of them you know
