Instead of trying to lose that 15 pounds you should try toning what you already have. It's amazing how much thinner you can look with good posture and toned muscles. Look up some core exercises... crunches, planks, back extensions... those will all help you stand up straight, which makes you look 5-10 pounds thinner right there! Start on some push ups and light weights if you're wearing a sleeveless dress and you'll look great next month!

At your weight, losing 15 pounds in a month would not only be extremely difficult, but it would also be extremely unhealthy.

If you want to look better, focus on toning up by jogging and other random cardio exercises.

Bad idea.

you should start by working out
drink lots of water
eat healthy

but honestly i dont think u will be able to lose 15 in a month thats unhealthy

stay active, drinks lots of water fast once aweek juice is good but take vitamins to feed yourself.

Geez..I'd kill to be 116. You're still I kid! I wouldn't be worried about losing weight at such a young age. Enjoy your youth and don't sweat the small stuff.

good answers all, but i find water is excellent and consume less calories than you consume.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)
8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it - we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
use fitday.com for tracking your intake

hun that is very doable
plan a diet that works for YOU stil to 1,000 calories
eat healthy workout 5 times a week
and write your diet plan DOWN. it will help you stick to it
not just planed out in your head..get a notebook
and weight yourself twice a week..plan the weigh-in days
get thinner u can do it u will look great
