Can any one tell me when 100g of raw rice get cooked, what'll be the weight !

Question: will there be any change in calorie level?

Answers: will there be any change in calorie level?

300 g of cooked rice.

Rice and pasta will both increase in volume and weight 2.5 to 3 times when cooked (depending on the type).

I just looked on www.nutritiondata.com:

1 cup of raw rice (185g) = 685 calories

1 cup of cooked rice (174g) = 169 calories

So, the raw rice has a higher caloric level. However, raw rice isn't edible.

it doesnt matter anyway if you think about it the added weight is just water so i say forget about it (unless the diet/recipe calls for cooked pasta/rice)

im not sure but if u search food calorie calculator or something along those lines u should get an answer
