If you are currently a soda drinker, or drink anything with sugar or high fructose corn syrup, cutting back your fluid intake to water alone will help you lose weight.

You might also want to consider adding more fiber to your diet, as that helps the elimination process. Make sure you are getting the appropropriate number of fruits/vegies per day, and don't forget your protein and fats. Use olive oil and other good fats (such as flaxseed oil) instead of margarine. Avoid fried foods. If you can, eliminate food containing white flour and white sugar.

I work with a guy who is severely overweight (could stand to lose 100+ pounds), and when he cut the soda, he lost 20 pounds. Of course, he has a lot to lose, so the effect was much more dramatic for him.

Start your day with a tablespoon with ground flaxseed and an 8 oz glass of unsweetened cranberry juice (diluted 1/2 with water). Follow up with a cup of very warm water with the juice of half a fresh lime or lemon.

For breakfast, have a protein shake (with a teaspoon of flaxseed oil), or have 2 eggs scrambled with as many vegies as you can stand (onions, peppers, asparagus, small broccoli pieces, mushrooms, fresh spinach... whatever you like) and a piece of whole grain toast drizzled with flaxseed oil (instead of margarine).

Mid-morning, have a piece of fruit and a small piece of cheese.

For lunch, have a large salad with about 4 oz protein (chicken or turkey or high quality beef). For dressing, use olive oil and vinegar with various herbs and spices instead of regular salad dressing. You can eat as much of the salad as you want, as vegies are basically a free food throughout the day.

Mid-afternoon have another snack, such as a piece of fresh fruit and a small handful of nuts.

Dinner would consist of 4 oz of protein, lots of vegies, etc. You should be getting the picture.

Before bed, have another 8 oz glass of diluted unsweetened cranberry juice with a tablespoon of ground flaxseed.

When I followed this plan religiously, I dropped the inches like never before. Even though I am not as much of a die-hard about it as I was several months ago, I still do the cranberry juice thing and unlimited vegetable eating. If you fill up on vegies and salad, you won't have a lot of room for the fattening stuff.

That doesn't mean I don't have dessert. I'm just careful about how I allocate my calories, especially my fat calories. If I'm just dying for an Oreo, I'll have one--but not twenty :)

Regarding exercise--you should be doing at least 30 minutes of cardio at least three or four times a week, plus some resistance (weight) training a two or three times. Cardio would be biking, walking, jogging, swimming--anything that gets your heart rate up.

Hope this helps.

um that should work but dont over exhilarate your self!

Ok, Drink 4 bottles of water a day, no soda, or fast food(incuding Subway, jared got liposuction)
No push ups, they only streghthen your arms.
No crunches or sit ups, if you have fat on your stomache, they
push it out cause the six pack underneith the fat
LOTS OF MILK OR CHEESE 4 THE PROTIEN, LESS FILLING THAN STEAK!!!!!!!
