It really depends on the starting weight and the diet followed. The higher your starting weight, the faster the mass will drop of, but the more you lose, the slower you lose it, if that makes sense?
If you go on a less than healthy diet such as the cabbage soup diet or Atkins, then a rapid weight loss can be observed, but this isn't good for your body, a controlled diet and excersise plan is the best way forward as it builds muscle and burns fat! But the amount you will lose depends on how fast your metabolism is. About 1 - 3 pounds a week is a good weight loss.

A normal weight loss would be about 10 pounds per month.

It depends on the person, and how overweight they are. If someone has 200 lbs to lose, they can easily lose 30 in 4 weeks. If someone has 10 lbs to lose, it can take them 6 weeks to get it off..

Yes, 1-2 pounds a week, maybe more, depending on how much you change your lifestyle.

2-3 pounds a week.

A long time! Exercise, eat healthy and little calorie foods

that depends on the diet your doing and how much and how you exercise and also how your body uses the metabolism. ?It's different for everyone. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat so if your building muscle, the scale might not change much. Rely more on measurements to determine weight loss.

It really depends on the person. Some people can loose a lot of weight in the first two or three weeks, and then after that hit a plateau If you exercise regularly and eat healthy and drink water you should able able to see a change in 4 weeks. Its healthy to loose only about 1 to 3 lbs a week. Best of luck!

Probably a very, very small change.

Don't worry about the minimum of when you'll see change. Enjoy the journey there. People who look for the minimum time to see whatever more often than not quit because they either burn themselves out too quickly physically and/or lose motivation from it.

I started going to the gym about a year ago and have enjoyed ever since because I like seeing results, regardless of how long it has taken.

EDIT: It doesn't take long to build muscle if you go three times a week for a good hour of pure strength training. But do what you know you can do at a good pace, not overkill. Just so long as you go for a true thing. When I first started, I started on machines, then worked my up gradually to the free weights. Now, I do a little bit of both every time I go.

i drop 5 pounds in 2-3 days seems like!!!!!!!!!!! i hate it. but i still look good but im diabetic though so im different from other pple.

I would suggest trying cleansing your body. I found cleansing to be the best weight loss program. I have ever tried. I lost 12 pounds in a week and 29 pounds in a month. I feel better since I removed the toxins from my body and shed some unwanted pounds. I did weight watchers, Jenny Craig and Medifast. I found that cleansing was the best since I saw results quickly and that kept me motivated to stick on the program.
