What's too much...?!


Question: Okay, i don't really understand this. I have never been on a diet and just recently started one. I think I'm doing good cause I've already lost about 4 lbs last week but I don't know how many grams of sugar are too many (in a box of special K ) or how many carbs would be too many as well. The box reads 5 grams of sugar but 26% carbs...good or not?

The zone diet says eat nine grams of carbs for every 7 grams of protein, and 1.5 grams of fat...this is a protein "block".

It's great for weight loss.

Keeping that ratio in each meal will help you to lose weight and keep your energy levels up. Eat one or two protein blocks (as described above) at a time, no more than three at a time.

Special K is alright but the healthiest breakfeast is probly wheat bix with no sugar :)
