Either one is technically too strong on salts and sugar. The ratio for good hydration is about 8 oz of one of these drinks to 8 oz of water. Using them for hydration alone is not a good idea. Most sport drinks add extra salt to stimulate thirst so you drink more, too much and you can end up with swollen hands and water retention. Unless you are running a marathon, the answer is: neither. Water is the best way of re-hydrating yourself after physical activity. And nutritionally? Who cares! You should get your nutrition from food, not from drink.

well...I feel that powerade has more of a watery taste, but that's me. ummm I believe powerade is a lot more sugary than gatorade, but as of the re hydration, im not sure.
