Do you think not eating sugar will help me in my diet?!


Question: ok ive been on a 1200 calorie diet or a week now and just 2 days ago i decided to not have sugar. so for 2 days i havnt had any sugar. will this do much in my diet. will it help me lose weight faster?

Nope! Having no sugar slows your metabolism. Real grain sugar is not good (you know, the kind you put in coffee) for you, but small amounts don't hurt. Also, apples are a great form of good fruit sugars. Avoid fatty foods like ice cream, pizza, cheeses in excess, and things.

Yes sugar is the devil when it comes to losing weight! You sound as if you already know what you are doing so keep up the good work.

sugars are good in the form of fruits (not fruit juice though)

drink only water or tea (not sugary tea) and not a lot of tea for the sake of your teeth health,

Exercise would be better, the kind that makes you breathe faster, Ladies Aerobics at least.

But, stopping sugar should not hurt too much.

Asparagus soup could make up for it. Same for fresh strawberries!

In any case, better to exercise than to cut calories further. Make sure the remaining foods are nutritious ones.

Sugar is added to different processed foods including most cereals.
However, all carbohydrates get turned into sugar eventually. Instead of avoiding sugar, you should be tryto avoiding simple carbohydrate and concentrate on eating complex carbohydrates.

Yes it will help, but you should have some good sugars in your diet to stay healthy. Fruit has the good sugars in it . and the fruit is better than the juice because it gives you more fullness. Me and my husband went on the sonoma diet and the first 10 days we could have no sugar and if we had to have a litte we used brown sugar instead, he lost 20 pounds in about a month and i lost 10 pounds in 2 months. So it works and is probly healthier for you. Remember to stay healthy, don't destroy your health just to THINK that you look good, my husband does not think really skinny girls are attractive. Come to think of it neither do any Guys i have ever known!!
